A cannabis farm was discovered after police raided a former store in Irvine's Bridgegate.
Police confirmed Irvine officers attended at the former Brighthouse store earlier this afternoon (September 25) over alleged drug farming going on in the disused premises.
Police were unable to confirm details of any value of the cultivation at this stage when contacted by the Irvine Times.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 12.30pm on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, officers discovered a cannabis cultivation in the Bridgegate area of Irvine.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
