THE team behind an Irvine takeaway have announced incredible plans to support families in need this Christmas.

Istanbul Kebab will be opening its doors on December 25 and offering a complimentary lunch to all who require.

The High Street business will be serving up from 2-5pm on Christmas Day for those looking for support at this time.

The takeaway specialises in kebabs, pizzas and burgers and has offered much more since opening in the town at the beginning of this year.

They have proved popular with locals, and now they are keen to give back and "serve as many people as possible" on Christmas Day.
