AN IRVINE shop are once again pulling out all the stops for families in the town this Christmas.
The Bourtreehill Supermarket announced earlier this week that the store would once again be hosting a festive family fun day.
The event will take place on Monday, December 23, from 4-7pm - and will provide the perfect build up to the big day itself.
A plethora of entertainment has been arranged for the evening - which has been funded in full by kind-hearted business owner Imran Ali.
The event is a 'must-make' for animal lovers with the Hannahston Alpacas, Real Reindeer Scotland and owls all to be in attendance.
Further to this, Face Paint Fairies will be offering free face painting, glitter tattoos and balloon modelling for all children. It is also hoped that Henna by Aisha will be able to make it along.
A number of local crafters will also be setting up stalls for the evening, and entertainment will be provided throughout by DJ Gary Woods.
And, of course, the event would not be complete without Santa himself, who will be present in his custom made sleigh - and will be handing out treats to all who have been nice!
The shop itself will also remain open throughout the event, offering free use of the child's softplay.
Quinn's Kitchen is to be opened late and will be offering hot drinks and snacks throughout.
It is hoped the community will turn out in force for the event which may be the last at the current Bourtreehill Supermarket before a permanent move is forced to a custom built premises.
