AN APPEAL has been launched in a bid to trace a pet dog reported missing from Irvine.
Bear, a three-year-old Pomeranian, disappeared from the Old Perceton area of the town on Saturday, January 11 shortly before 12pm.
Lost dog search, rescue and trapping team Ayrshire Drone Dog Rescue (ADDR) are now asking the public to assist in returning the pet pooch home.
They are pleading with those who live in the surrounding area to check any CCTV or dashcam footage they have for any possible sightings.
The group are also urging people to be wary of any suspicious listings of similar pets on online selling sites.
Bear is described as a toy breed which has long hair - which may appear shorter if wet - and is mainly of black and tan colours around the face, chest and paws.
Those who believe they may have spotted a suspicious listing, or see a Pomeranian that could be Bear, are asked to contact ADDR on 07824 159976 or 07815 542526 - rather than attempt to take action on their own.
