A COMPASSIONATE youth football team has decided to spread a charity message on its new kits.
Ardeer Thistle 2019 was on the lookout for sponsorship ahead of the new season - before deciding to self-fund for its latest tops.
After taking part in a sponsored walk, the team raised nearly £800 to purchase jerseys for the whole squad.
Once received, the club could have opted to leave the front of their shirts blank, but decided to take a different approach.
Each top now dawns The Zak Scott Braveheart Foundation logo - showing support to an incredible Kilwinning based charity.

The organisation was set up in memory of Zak Scott - a youngster who was born in April 1996 and shortly afterwards was diagnosed a complicated congenital heart condition, which included a hole in the heart.
After undergoing a number of major operations in his early years, Zak was able to live life to the fullest for a number of years.
Sadly, after undergoing open heart surgery in March 2009, Zak encountered serious complications in which he bravely battled before passing away just weeks before his 15th birthday.
The foundation was set up in September 2011 by his family in Zak's memory.
The charity now aims to provide help and grant small wishes of children and young people with a heart disorder who are on the cardiac surgical waiting list at Yorkhill Sick Children’s Hospital - where Zak attended throughout his life.
Ardeer Thistle is hoping to support this incredible work and spread awareness by promoting the charity on its kits.
