These Primary 3/2 pupils from St Mark’s in Irvine donned some crazy gear as they joined in a dress-up day in order to raise money for the Haitian earthquake appeal in May 2010.

The Rotary Club of Kilwinning revealed the town’s Young Musicians of the Year in May 2010. Pictured are winners Katy Watson, Kathryn McCrindle and Thomas Munley with club president John Bennett.

Youngsters from the Learning Tree Nursery were treated to some birthday fun and games as they celebrated 25 years of the nursery in May 2010.

The team at Kidron House Hotel in Dreghorn put on a special charity Cake and Coffee Day in May 20210. The money raised went to the Philippine Community Fund. Hotel owners John and Danielle MacInnes were supporters of the charity - with John’s sister Joanna working as a full-time missionary in the country.

Former Kilwinning Academy pupil Stephen McCairns, 21, was handed a coveted Ganges Trophy at his passing out ceremony after leading his team to victory as part of a training competition at HMS Raleigh. He is pictured receiving the trophy from Vice Admiral Peter Wilkinson, Deputy Chief of Defence Staff.

These Greenwood Academy pupils chomped down on some really healthy snacks in May 2010. The S2 pupils were learning about the vitamins and virtues of eating fresh fruit and veg thanks to Home Economics teacher Mara Lynsey.
