AN Irvine hotel has been crowned the best in Scotland for its spa and golf facilities.
The Gailes Hotel & Spa won the title of 'Scotland's Best Spa & Golf Hotel 2025' at the Scottish Prestige Hotel Awards.
The judging panel praised the hotel for its "exceptional facilities and service".
The Gailes offers more than 50 personalised treatments, day spa packages, and overnight spa breaks.
The hotel also boasts Ayrshire's only Toptracer Driving Range, a PGA coaching academy, and a new putting and chipping practice area.
The awards ceremony was attended by more than 500 members of Scotland's hotel and hospitality businesses.
The Gailes' parent company, SimpsInns, also saw its Waterside Hotel in West Kilbride 'Highly Recommended' in the Four Star Hotel category.
All three of SimpsInns' hotels reached the final. SimpsInns is owned and operated by the Irvine-based Simpson family.
They run a collection of award-winning hotels, restaurants, bars, spa, golf, and leisure activities along the Ayrshire coast.

The new spa at The Waterside is set to open in late 2025.
