THE opening date has been revealed for the new Starbucks franchise in Irvine.
The global coffee giant is set to open its Riverway retail park store on Thursday, July 3.
Customers will officially be welcomed for the first time at 7am when the branch opens its doors.
Those looking to try out the new shop will be able to do so until 8pm when the first day of service will end.
Ahead of opening day, those operating the new franchise have shared a sneak peak inside the venue.
"We can’t wait to see all your faces in our store, bright and early Thursday morning," a spokesperson added.
While the global coffee giant say they are excited for the opening - with a surprise in store for some of their first customers.
A spokesperson said: “We are excited to open our new store in Irvine on July 3, bringing 20 new jobs to the local community.
"We look forward to welcoming our new customers and sharing the Starbucks experience.
"To celebrate, the first 50 customers will receive a goody bag, and there will be coffee tastings and sampling events taking place throughout the day.”
The shop has undergone a complete transformation, having previously operated as a branch of Tony Macaroni.
It has been a long awaited move for many locals - who first speculated that Starbucks would be coming to town one year ago.
Rumours began circulating after job adverts appeared online for roles at a site within the Riverway Retail Park.
This coincided with the approval of a planning application for the former Tony Macaroni restaurant - which had closed more than one year prior.
The green-lighted proposals sought to change the use of part of the premises to a coffee shop, something which backed up the Starbucks speculation.

However, at the time, Starbucks insisted there was "no news" to share with regards to an Irvine franchise.
Confirmation of the new franchise was only provided in May this year.
Since then, various internal and external works have taken place at the premises - which also hosts a Hays Travel shop.
Starbucks branding now dominates the building which will become the second large coffee shop within the Riverway retail park - with a Costa Coffee franchise located only metres away.
