ALL-FEMALE pop rock band The Marches are set to release their second single next month.
The members, who come from Irvine and Paisley and have already headlined the legendary King Tut's in Glasgow, are preparing to bring out double a-side November and Don't Fool Me Twice.
Formed in early 2024, the band comprises singer and guitarist Katie Palmer, Nicola Singleton on bass, Jane Jenkins on lead guitar and Kate Morrow on drums.
Their sound has drawn comparison to the raw edge of PJ Harvey, with the melodic punch of Fleetwood Mac and the pop sensibility of Taylor Swift.
Their debut single In Comes The Fear dropped in July last year, followed by Talking Too Much - a tongue-in-cheek anthem inspired by a real-life encounter with casual sexism on the gig circuit.
Quickly earning airplay across BBC Radio Scotland and local stations, their headline show at King Tut’s cemented their reputation as one of the most exciting new acts in the country.
In 2025, with the release of Come Back Around, they lit up the festival circuit with standout performances at Pavilion Festival, Prestfest, and Belladrum Festival, where they played both the Seedlings Stage and the intimate Tomatin Bothy Sessions with Netsounds.
