IRVINE Rugby Club has welcomed the installation of a "lifesaving" defibrillator.
The Marress team was able to put the device in place at its home ground following a donation by The Hearts and Balls Charitable Trust.
The club thanked the organisation for making this possible after the defibrillator was put in place, ready for use if ever required.
A club spokesperson said: "We’re proud to announce that the club now has a brand-new defibrillator, kindly donated by The Hearts and Balls Charitable Trust.
"This lifesaving piece of equipment gives players, supporters, and our wider community added peace of mind every time they step through our doors
"A huge thank you to Hearts and Balls for their generosity and continued support of grassroots rugby."
