AS 2025 draws to a close I would like to thank the public, our partner agencies, police officers and staff, for their continued commitment and support in keeping Ayrshire’s communities safe.
I encourage everyone to enjoy the festive season responsibly. Officers and staff will be on hand, as they are every day of the year, but there are measures you can take to help.
Don’t put yourself or others at risk by driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. This could have tragic consequences and ruin many lives.
Look out for yourself and others, whether that’s keeping homes and valuables secure or checking on family and neighbours, particularly the most vulnerable members of our community.
As we go into the new year we continue to focus on the Chief Constable’s vision for safer communities, reducing crime, supporting victims and enhancing our workforce.
The support we receive from the public and partner agencies is vital and we’ll continue to develop these strong relationships in the coming year.
