A SUPPORT group will launch in Stewarton to help people cope with bereavement by suicide.

The group, named Creating Hope, will take place at the Stewarton Annick Youth and Community Association over a seven-week period, beginning Monday, January 12, and concluding Monday, March 2.

Organised by the East Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership, it offers a “safe and confidential space” for people aged 14 and older who have lost someone to suicide.

Group size will be limited to 12 participants.

Anyone interested in taking part in the programme can find out more by emailing margaret.mclean@aapct.scot.nhs.uk.
