THE Scottish Maritime Museum is preparing to launch a brand new exhibition.
Tides of Time opens on February 1, in partnership with the Royal Scottish Academy.
The exhibition is designed to explore the influence of Scotland’s seas and coastlines on artistic expression.
A spokesperson said "The Museum are excited to partnership with the Royal Scottish Academy (RSA) for a major exhibition exploring how Scotland’s seas and coastlines have inspired generations of artists."
"This carefully curated exhibition will feature works by seven distinguished artists, each with deep connections to Scotland’s maritime heritage."
The exhibition will include dynamic seascapes by Joan Eardley and deeply personal coastal scenes by John Bellany, who grew up in a fishing family.
Ian Hamilton Finlay and Ian Fleming will also be featured for their maritime-inspired visual narratives.
Visitors can access the exhibition with standard museum admission ticket.
