LEGENDARY singer songwriter Wreckless Eric is heading to Ayrshire next month for a one-off gig.
Eric Goulden is best known as the man behind the late 70s classic Whole Wide World, and he has had a prodigious recorded output since his beginnings on Stiff Records in the mid-seventies.
Now he's set to headline at Irvine's Harbour Arts Centre on Friday, March 13 under the Freckfest banner.

For this show Eric will be alone with electric and acoustic guitars, and electronics of his own making. He tends to do what he wants to do rather than what might be expected.
He’ll most likely play his big hit from the 70s, the enduring Whole Wide World. He may play other songs from various stages of his long career.
The set will most likely focus on his new album, England Screaming, released on Tapete Records in November 2025.
Expect songs, stories and soundscapes, but don’t expect a recreation of 1977 - the past 47 years have made him so much more than that.
