FANS of country music and Americana are in for a treat at Irvine's Harbour Arts Centre next month.
The City Sinners, fronted by critically acclaimed singer songwriters John Hinshelwood and Louise Mcatee, will play at the venue on Friday, March 24.
Guitarist Iain Barbour and pedal steel player Malcolm McMaster are both in demand as session players and can count Jason Ringenberg, Jim Lauderdale and Martin Stephenson among their many collaborators.
Bass player/singer David McKee is a member of The Wynntown Marshals, one of Scotland’s premier Americana outfits, and drummer Frank McHugh has recorded and toured extensively with various bands, most notably Big Sur whose debut single ‘Please Stay’ was a Radio One single of the week.

The show will feature the Emmylou Harris album 'Elite Hotel', (celebrating the 50th anniversary of its release), in addition to a selection of songs associated with both Emmylou and Gram Parsons. Emmylou Harris.
