AN AWARD-WINNING Stewarton bookshop is starting a new chapter as it moves premises.

Currently situated on Main Street, The Book Nook opens its doors in a new home within the Stewarton Area Centre on Tuesday, March 3.

Owner Sarah Frame says the move is an "exciting and innovative partnership" with East Ayrshire Leisure Ltd.

The business, which regularly hosts top authors including former First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, has previously been named the UK's best independent bookshop.

Sarah said: "We’ll still be your independent bookshop, still running all your favourite clubs, children’s sessions and author events, and still championing community, wellbeing and the joy of reading.

"Our new space and new collaboration will let us do even more. Thank you for your incredible support - we can’t wait to welcome you to The Book Nook."
