LOCALS are being urged to share their views on the potential relocation of the Dreghorn and Springside War Memorial.
First unveiled in November 1921, the structure has stood at the top of 'The Mount' for more than a century.
However, in recent times, concerns have been raised amongst the community about spates of vandalism and fire-raising around the memorial.
Dreghorn Community Council has now launched a survey as it looks to establish public opinion on proposals to relocate the monument.
This is available online at tinyurl.com/DreghornWarMemorial and will remain open until May 1. Paper copies are also available at Dreghorn Library.
The questionnaire covers a range of points, including many relating to a potential move for the memorial should to a location outside the village library.
Opportunity is also presented for discussion on the suitability of its present position.
An in-person meeting is also set to be held at Dreghorn Bowling Club on Sunday, March 29, from 12.30pm - offering a further chance for opinions to be shared.
