A MAN has been arrested and charged in connection with road traffic offences following a crash in Stewarton this morning.
The 37-year-old driver was taken to hospital for treatment and later released.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
There are no other reported injuries.
Kilwinning Road has now re-opened following the incident which was reported to police around 12.50am on Sunday, March 29.
As a precaution, residents were evacuated due to a possible gas leak.
Gas engineers attended and made the area safe, allowing the majority of residents to return to their properties.
