AN Irvine crematorium has been recognised as one of the best in Scotland.
Holmsford Bridge Crematorium received the Highly Recommended Award in the Best Crematorium category at the Scottish Funeral Awards 2026, finishing behind the winner, Rouchanloch Crematorium.
The team described the award as “emotional and special,” reflecting the dedication and care they put into their work.
A spokesperson said: "For our team, this is a very emotional and special award as it’s a symbol of the hard work and dedication we all put in to ensuring our crematorium is a place of peace and dignified care for our families.
"As a very new team it’s a sign of the progress made and most importantly of what’s to come.
