IF you're looking for a laugh over the next few months, three new Sidesplitters comedy nights in North Ayrshire could fit the bill.

Mickey Bartlett, Eshaan Akbar and Irvine's own Billy Kirkwood are set to kick off the laughs at the Harbour Arts Centre at events scheduled for June, July and August.

First up will be Mickey, described as Northern Ireland's answer to Kevin Bridges, who has been widely hailed as one of the funniest and fastest rising stars on the live stand-up circuit.

He will perform at the arts centre on Saturday, June 6 from 8pm.

Next up will be Billy, famed for his stand-up, and improvisation. He's a breakfast radio host, an Insane Championship Wrestling commentator, a podcaster and streamer. On top of that he's a five-time winner of the Scottish Comedy Awards.

He's set to return to the HAC on Saturday, July 4 from 8pm.

Third up is Eshaan, known for his appearances on Frankie Boyle's New World Order, Mock the Week and Live At The Apollo as well as starring in the hit show Sex Education. His show comes to Irvine on Saturday, August 1 at 8pm.

Tickets for all three shows are available here.

All the acts will be supported by some of the best up-and-coming comedians in the country.
