AN Ayrshire fire station has urged residents to park considerately after concerns emergency vehicles could struggle to access some streets.
Stewarton Community Fire Station said access and exit routes had recently been affected while crews responded to incidents under blue lights.
Firefighters warned that poorly parked vehicles could impact response times during emergencies.
A spokesperson said: "We politely ask for residents to be cautious when parking their vehicles, and take a moment to ensure any Emergency Services Vehicle would manage into that area.
"Please bear in mind that some specialist resources are considerably larger than our appliance, so extra space is needed."
