ESSENTIAL improvement works are set to take place in Stewarton.
The works form part of Scottish Water’s £16.5 million Stewarton Improving Urban Waters project and will involve remedial repairs to a manhole within the scheme area.
Work is scheduled to begin on High Street on Monday, July 20, and is expected to last for around five days.
To enable the works to be carried out safely, three-way temporary traffic lights will be in operation during the works.
Parking restrictions will also be in place on High Street and Springwell Place. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout.
A Scottish Water spokesperson said: "We understand that this work may cause some temporary disruption and would like to thank local residents, businesses and road users for their patience and understanding while we carry out this essential work safely and efficiently."
