These are the top rated breakfast restaurants in Brighton according to Tripadvisor, but do you agree? 

1. Compass Point Eatery 

This 1920’s inspired American diner style restaurant on Mont Pelier Place is rated number one by Tripadvisor with nearly 650 reviews. 

A mid-range eatery, Compass Point Eatery, has been described as having the “best pancakes in Brighton” and even the best pancakes this side of the Atlantic by one reviewer. 

2.Little Miss Piggies

The clue’s in the name with this one, a great weekend pick me up Little Miss Piggies is a sure bet to leave feeling stuffed as a pig. 

The family run traditional English cafe is home to the all day cooked breakfast and is famous for their epic mountainous hot chocolates. 

3.Cafe Marmalade

This nice looking cafe and shop is located in Kemp Town and serves fresh food, cakes and Italian coffee. 

Heralded as one of Brighton’s ‘most popular and best loved cafes’, Marmalade opened its doors in 2013 and since then has gone on to win awards for their food. 

4. Joe’s Cafe

Described as “the best cafe in Brighton” by reviewers online, Joe’s Cafe is a quintessential British cafe. 

Serving yummy food with good portion sizes for a good price Joe’s is “passionate about food and believes in the power of a great breakfast”. 

The cafe has carefully selected, top quality suppliers and Sussex sourced farms for their meat, vegetables and eggs to ensure they are giving their customers the best. 

With a varied menu Joe’s serves everything from a fry up to a spicy Spanish hash. 

The cafe is located on Upper Hamilton Road. 

5. Coffeetzar 

Last but not least, Coffeetzar is described as an artisan coffee shop with a Mediterranean twist. 

The cafe serves quickbites and a variety of cakes, savouries and smooth Cuban coffee.

Items on their menu change frequently as everything is prepared fresh, in house.

Owner, Idon Irwin said: “We are really friendly and we have a lot of time for our customers. 

“We just love our customers to be honest, opening everyday is a joy.”

Some of the customers favourites include the spinach pie, prosciutto twist and sausage rolls. 

Located in the heart of Brighton on Trafalgar Street, Coffeetzar recently appeared in the Taste of England Best Coffee Awards.
