Dani Dyer-Bowen is a popular figure but how much do you know about her as she joins the Strictly 2026 cast?
It’s not the first time Dyer-Bowen has signed up to the BBC show as she was in the lineup last year but had to pull out due to an injury.
Strictly Come Dancing begins on September 19 at 7.25pm on BBC One and iPlayer.

Who is Dani Dyer-Bowen?
Dyer-Bowen is a former Love Island contestant and social media influencer and she's the daughter of EastEnders and Rivals actor Danny Dyer.
Dani won the 2018 series of Love Island and now features alongside her dad in their series The Dyers’ Caravan Park.
She has also featured on Celebrity MasterChef, Celebrity Gogglebox and EastEnders.
She is married to West Ham footballer Jarrod Bowen, and the couple have twin daughters, Summer and Star, together.
Dani also has a son, Santiago, with her ex-partner Sammy Kimmence.
On returning to Strictly, she said: “I am so excited to be back in the ballroom this September.
“I just cannot wait to get my dancing shoes back on and hopefully this time around I can actually make it to week one.
“I’m just over the moon and cannot wait to find out who else is doing it.”

Why did Dani Dyer-Bowen leave Strictly in 2025?
Dyer-Bowen was due to dance in last year’s competition but was forced to quit after she broke her foot during rehearsals.
The injury came before she appeared on the show, so she only managed to rehearse with her professional partner, Nikita Kuzmin.
How much do you know about Strictly Come Dancing?
Since her short time on the show, Dani took part in Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins and was one of three female recruits to pass the course.
Gabby Allen, also a former Love Island contestant, and retired Olympic swimmer Emily Seebohm also passed the course.
Will Dani Dyer-Bowen dance with Nikita Kuzmin again?
It’s not yet clear who Dani will dance with this year as Strictly has changed things up.
Previously, fans would be told the pairings weeks before the show and the celebrities and partners would rehearse together in the run-up.
However, the launch show will reveal the partnerships this year, so fans will have to wait until September 19 to find out if Dani and Nikita get to dance together again.
