THE luxury Lanarkshire villa of ex-Celtic striker Moussa Dembele has hit the market - for a cool monthly rental amount of £2,700.

And the swanky five-bedroom part-furnished house in Bothwell has already been snapped up.

As of this week, though, it looks to have been handed over to a new renter.

Dembele, 22, made an acrimonious deadline day exit from Celtic on August 30 after he signed a five-year deal with Lyon worth a Scottish record of £20 million.

Hoops manager Brendan Rodgers maintained there were no promises made to the Frenchman regarding a move as the player left the club on a sour note.
