TENERIFE is now home to a new £70m fairy tale-themed hotel.
The Fantasia Bahia Principe finally opened last week on the Spanish island which is a hugely-popular summer holiday destination with Glaswegians.
The new resort contains 372 rooms, seven pools, five restaurants, six bars - and even a children’s water park.
The five-star, all-inclusive resort’s biggest feature - which will undoubtedly be the main attraction for families - is a giant, white, Disney-like castle that sits in the heart of the resort.
Isabel Piñero, vice president of marketing and communications for Grupo Piñero, said: “The opening of Fantasia Bahia Principe Tenerife marks several milestones for our company.
“On one hand, it consolidates and reaffirms our commitment to Spain, where seven of our 25 hotels are located.”
“On the other hand, it allows us to present a new brand to the market: Fantasia, which we believe will put us at the forefront of entertainment innovation in the all-inclusive segment for families worldwide,” he added, reports The Daily Mirror.
