TV CREWS have set up shop on an Ayrshire beach as filming gets underway for a new psychological thriller.
Pictures show vans and tents arriving in the car park of Irvine beach on Monday evening, with filming getting underway on Tuesday morning.

What is being filmed at Irvine beach in Ayrshire?
Streaming platform Paramount+'s show 'The Chemistry of Death' is currently being filmed at Irvine beach in Ayrshire.
The series is based on Simon Beckett's 2006 novel of the same name and is described as a psychological thriller
Beckett's book is set in a Norfolk village and follows the story of forensic expert David Hunter who becomes a suspect after a grisly murder takes place.
The cast if the show is yet to be announced.
How long will filming last at Irvine beach?
It is unconfirmed how long crews will film at the Ayrshire beauty spot, however it has been reported that filming for the entirety of the show will take place across 15 weeks in different UK locations, including Glasgow.
The car park, just off Marine Drive, is completely closed to allow crews to set up trailers and will remain closed throughout the day.
