If you're on the lookout for a wonderful holiday spot but don't want to break the bank by jetting off on a foreign holiday, then Scotland has you covered.
The country is home to hundreds of magical islands, gorgeous towns, and expansive regions that are full of things to do.
Because of this, prestigious travel magazine Conde Nast Traveller has named four Scottish locations among the best for a staycation in the UK.
The spots were listed alongside beloved destinations like Margate in Kent and Anglesey in Wales.

Isle of Arran
Isle of Arran (Image: Getty Images/iStockphoto) Discussing the Isle of Arran, Louisa Parker Bowles, global operations director at Vogue, said she and her family had a "magical" week gorge walking, fishing, lobster potting and spotting seals here.
Beyond seals, there are also opportunities to see basking sharks and pods of dolphins off in the horizon.
She added that days on Arran "tend to float by in a happy blur of exploring, eating delicious local seafood and enjoying vibrant sunsets which turn the sky bright orange".
Others have also commended this location, with visitors on Tripadvisor praising it for its "stunning" history and the number of things on offer.
One person said it is "definitely Scotland in miniature."
Western Scottish Highlands
Ullapool (Image: Getty Images/iStockphoto) Olivia Morelli, senior digital writer, said you could trek the "silent" hinterlands surrounding Ullapool for hours without seeing anyone.
She added that one of her favourite hikes was the snow-covered Stac Pollaidh and urged visitors to reward long walks with a trip to Lochinver Larder for the "best pie you’ll ever have".
Braemar
Road sign for Braemar and Aberdeen (Image: Getty Images) Braemar is said to be one of the "most beautiful" places in Scotland, where travellers can swim in the "breathtakingly cold" mountain water of the Linn of Dee, climb multiple munros and head out with torches at night to spot deer.
Discussing the village, the Braemar Scotland website has highlighted the fact that it is located in the "heart" of the UK's largest national park in the Cairngorms, ensuring there are loads of outdoor activities on offer.

Perthshire
Perthshire is said to be "perfectly located" on the Highland Boundary fault, drawing visitors in with its ragged peaks, dense woodlands and "mysterious" lochs.
The natural beauty here is said to be matched with historical landmarks like Scone Palace and the Maggie Wall Witch Monument.
