NORTH Ayrshire Athletics Club held their annual Awards Night in Ardrossan Civic Centre on Saturday evening.
The main purpose of the evening was to celebrate the achievements of the club’s athletes, young and not so young, and to thank the coaches and volunteers who make their success possible.
Club President Michael Murray, gave a Review of the Year, highlighting another year of great success on the track, cross country, on the hills, long distance running and field events – in fact in all aspects of athletic achievement.
After the presentation of prizes to the winners, the assembled athletes, parents, volunteers, coaches and friends of the Club enjoyed a disco with food and drink.
Murray said: “What a wonderful celebration of our great club, thanks very much to everyone who came along and contributed to the success of a great nigh.
