Muirkirk netted in 35 minutes through Scott Steedman.

Vics began the second half strongly but the Kirk defence stood resolute and created a good few opportunities themselves .However in a mad two minutes Vics scored two goals Firstly in 72 minutes David "Harpo" Smith sent a pass from the edge of the 18-yard box to Sean Mears who sidefooted home. A minute later Smith sent home a shot from 25 yards to put the hosts ahead.
