New Coin Holdings West of Scotland Cup Second Round

FORM team Meadow continued their inspired winning run as they saw off the hosts at Gasworks Park.

But they had to wait until the second half to make the breakthrough against their Super First Division rivals.

Following a goalless first half, Meadow took a grip on the game after the interval.

It took until midway through the second half for them to seize the initiative, as Eddie McTernan netted in 73 minutes. He then followed that up with his second goal, before setting up Graham Boyd to net.

Late on skipper Ben Carson sealed all three points with goal number four.

Meadow are on a real roll and their recent run of form suggests they are in with a good chance of making the playoffs for the Premier Division come the end of the season.

Saturday sees them host Dalry Thistle in the opening round of the showpiece Ayrshire Weekly Press Cup.
