IRVINE Meadow are quietly confident they can complete the job and see off Arthurlie in the second leg of the Premier Division play-off tomorrow night.
Brian McGinty's side won the opening leg 2-1 at Meadow Park last night.
They took the lead through Jared Willet in 32 minutes and six minutes later Graham Boyd levelled from the spot.
The visitors scored a minute into injury-time to reduce the leeway.
McGinty said: "I felt we played really well right through the first half and for the first 10 minutes of the second but Arthurlie then dominated. It was a bit of a damper that they scored late on and they will fancy their chances.
"But we must look to win the tie, as I said at the start and if we win both ties we will come through. There's no point playing for a draw or we could lose a late goal.
"They are the favourites as the Premier Division team but hopefully we can come through."
