McBOOKIE Premiership side Cumnock Juniors have indicated an interest in a proposed new West of Scotland League.

The Lowland League are calling on clubs to consider signing up for the new set up.

Cumnock Juniors said in a statement: "The club have expressed an interest in the new proposed West of Scotland League.

"This will enable the club to gain first hand knowledge of the propsed league.

"The Club's officials will endeavour to seek the information and options available to Cumnock Juniors Football Club.

"The best interests of the club will be the main priority. 

"A Supporters' meeting will then be arranged to relay all the information gathered."
