Chelsea and Scotland star Billy Gilmour is out for the rest of the season with a knee injury, according to reports.

The 19-year-old has been impressive in his last handful of games for the Blues having picked up man of the match awards against Liverpool, Everton and Crystal Palace in recent matches.

But now, as his side continue to battle for a top four spot in the Premier League, they'll look to do so without their talented midfielder, according to the Sun.

Gilmour has been picked over Italian Jorginho in recent games and proven his worth to Frank Lampard. There are four matches still to be played this campaign following the restart but it is believed to be touch and go whether the Scottish starlet will play any further part.
