Kilwinning Rangers AFC manager William Shearer is looking for his side to push up the league after they picked up a 9-2 win over Symington Caledonian at the weekend.
The Buffs went into the Ayrshire Amateur Football Association Division 2A match looking to get back to winning ways after their Donsport Trophy Quarter Final disappointment against Kilbride Thistle a fortnight ago.
They did just that with a goal from Anthony Quirk, a double from Wallace and an incredible six from Dylan McLintock giving them a comprehensive victory.
The result sees the amateur side now sitting fifth in the table on 18 points with several games in hand on most of the teams above them in league.
Speaking to the Times, Shearer said: “We have got to get the points on the board from these games in hand we have.
“It is actually one of the reasons why we play a lot of games on astro turf so we can try and catch up.
“We are in a cup again next week so it takes a bit of a dent on getting a league run.
“But we are looking to get as many games on as possible to get up the league.”
