STEWARTON man Stephen Robinson guided his St Mirren side to Premier Sports Cup glory over Celtic at Hampden on Sunday.
The Irishman, who has settled in the East Ayrshire town in the last few years, became one of only five Saints managers to earn a major honour with the club.
The Buddies triumphed 3-1 against the Scottish Premiership champions to earn their place in the club's history.
Goals from Marcus Fraser and a second-half double from Jonah Ayunga did the damage against Wilfried Nancy's faltering Celtic team.
The Paisley club claimed the League Cup for only the second time in their history, as celebrations stretched well into the night.
