A YOUNG Irvine Meadow side has issued a rallying cry as they sit on the brink of league title glory.
The club's 2013 side will play their final Ayrshire Youth Football League (AYFL) Premier League match on Wednesday, June 3.
The young North Ayrshire outfit will be travelling to the Dean Park football pitches to take on Dean Thistle, with kick off at 6.30pm.
They head into the fixture knowing that just one point is required to end the campaign as champions.
With 14 of their 15 matches this season complete, the Irvine side have yet to face league defeat, winning 12 and drawing two games so far.
Completing the unbeaten season would be enough to end it with silverware in hand.
It would be an incredible feat for the team, especially given it is their first full year in competitive football.
They are now hoping that the town will get behind them as they look to seal the deal.
A spokesperson said: "This is a massive game for our local boys so any support would be great as the boys look to secure an impressive first league title.
"We would love to see as much support as possible from family, friends and supporters. Get along to Dean Park and help cheer the team on in this massive final fixture."
