PLENTY of fun will be on offer as Irvine Rugby Club prepares to host a ladies tournament next weekend.
The Marress club will welcome over 100 players from across the country, as well as local sides, on Saturday, June 20, from 12pm.
Each will be taking part in a 10-a-side competition, something the club has never organised before.
The club is determined to make the inaugural event a success with a full day of entertainment planned both on and off the pitch.
As well as the competitive action, there will be BBQ available, the club's bar will be open and there are free family activities on offer all day.
A spokesperson added: "With just under a week to go until our 10s tournament, we are busy making plans and preparing for our day.
"We have plenty of women's rugby on display throughout the afternoon - expect a feisty competition and plenty of action.
"The day is fully family friendly and we are hoping for a big turnout from our club and surrounding spectators.
"Kick off from 12pm at Irvine Rugby Club - we cannot wait to see you all there. No club membership required anyone is welcome!"
