A DECADE long wait was ended at Dundonald Links on Sunday as Jenny Shin claimed Women's Scottish Open victory.
The South Korean completed a wire-to-wire win at the 2026 edition of the event as she closed out on nine-under par after a three over par final round of 75.
In tough conditions at the Irvine venue, the 33-year-old finished two shots clear of A Lim Kim in second place.
Shin overcame nerves to cross the finish line and claim her first win in over 10 years and her second LPGA title in 368 attempts.
It was a more than deserved title after an incredible opening three rounds of 66, 67 and 71 saw her well clear heading into the final day.
Shin held her nerve and the challenge of a star-studded field, that included seven of the world's top ten ranked players, to get her hands on the trophy.
"I hung in there so I'm quite proud of myself," she commented. "I kept looking at the leaderboard and I hate being chased but at the same time, I think I love adrenaline."
Shin also showed her appreciation for Dundonald Links as a fantastic venue for the event.
She added: "I haven't had a chance to talk about that but I want to thank all the staff members outside the course and the pro shop, they have been pretty incredible.
"I'm quite familiar with some of the staff and they have been coming up to me and cheering me on. You know, it's really nice. Feels like a bit of a family.
"I want to thank everyone, all the volunteers, as well. I never even got to say thank you to the people that were with us today because of all the champagne. I can't thank them enough. The golf course was unbelievable despite how dry it was."
