WEST of Scotland Padel Women have been crowned national champions after a dramatic day of action at the Padel Scottish Cup Finals 2026.
Following weeks of club versus club ties around the country, Finals Day took place across four courts at Racket Barn in Glasgow as spectators flocked to watch live.
Both the men’s and women’s competitions went down to the wire, with shootouts required when the sides couldn’t be split after four rubbers.
North Ayrshire club West of Scotland won the women’s competition with a 3-2 victory over Edinburgh Sports Club to get their hands on the trophy for the third time in four years
With the scores level after all four rubbers, West of Scotland Padel Women came through a 10-point shootout to seal a famous win.
West of Scotland Padel Women’s captain Charlotte McClure said: “It feels amazing, especially to win on a shootout after losing in one last year.
"We’ve had a really tough campaign with some close matches, so I’m very proud of the team.”
This was the fourth edition of the Padel Scottish Cup, which is organised and operated by Tennis Scotland in its role as national governing body for padel.
