A QUICK recovery from Irvine Meadow on Saturday saw them bounce back from a midweek defeat in style.
They drew 0-0 at home to promoted Petershill just three days after losing 4-2 at home to Darvel.
This left them in eighth place, just a point behind sixth-placed Cumbernauld United with a game in hand.
McGinty had been critical of the showing on Wednesday night, saying after the game: "That was an embarrassing performance. I have praised the players this season since we came here, but we did not show enough respect to Darvel.
However he said following the weekend game: "I had no doubt that the players would bounce back from Wednesday and they competed well on Saturday against a good side who are going to win the league. There weren't many chances in the game. I felt Jared Willet and Con Boyle both did well, it's very much a squad game."
Following an Ayrshire Weekly Press Cup tie at home to Ardrossan Winton Rovers last night (Monday) Meadow make a long trip south-east to face Kello Rovers, while they are also on the road this Saturday, taking on Maryhill at Lochburn Park.
They will be looking to avenge the shock 1-0 defeat at the hands of John Quinn's team back in November.
He said: "We will focus on each game at a time and aim to go to Kirkconnel and get a result first and then prepare for Saturday."
